2.Powerco Residential Connection Incentive Scheme

How much does it cost to connect to Natural Gas?

As the natural gas distributor, Powerco Tasmania is responsible for laying the gas pipe from the road to your house, installing the meter on your house and connecting you to the natural gas network. Your gas fitter will install your appliances and connect them to the gas meter.

Generally the installation of the service pipe and meter will be free provided you are installing an approved gas hot water system.
